1955 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe Newport 2-door hardtop with 392 HEMI V8. This is the car that provided the platform styling for the first C-300 NASCAR Hemi 2-door hardtop. Almost identical cars. My Grand-dad bought this car new in 1956 and soon after had trouble with water leaking into the oil. After the dealership changing head gaskets twice Chrysler decided it had a casting flaw in the block and after a two year run-around replaced the 331 Hemi with a 1957 392 Hemi. Only 34k actual miles. Some rust in rockers and floors but structurally the car is sound. All trim pieces, jack, spare tire and lug wrench are with the car. Last cranked in 1989. Will need general restoration. We are selling for the entire car for the value of the engine alone--$4800. Delivery possible. Faelan Wilson
